Membership

The membership of these bodies varies but should include relevant stakeholders from the Government, including line ministries and executive agencies, the traders community, and intermediary service providers such as transport operators or customs brokers. For a list of stakeholders see here. It is recommended to work with and through business, trade and industry associate where they exist with open membership. They represent multiple members and reduce transaction costs for both the NTFB and the private sector stakeholders.

The stakeholders have different imperatives and interests. A stakeholder analysis provides information on who exactly the national trade facilitation stakeholders are, why they should become involved, and what their interests are.
