Information can be exchanged between partners 24/24h and 7/7days; the internet and emails can be used to file and send documents. Whilst ICT can offer immense opportunities for simplification, this potential can only be developed if its introduction is accompanied by the redesign of procedures and organization structures, and the application of e-business solutions.
