Summary: The International Chamber of Commerce, also referred to as the World Business Organization, Guidelines for Cross-Border Traders in Goods offer 59 standards as best practices of safe and secure conduct for cross-border traders in goods. They serve as baseline recommendations for a harmonized understanding of the criteria for a trusted trader. The guidelines are intended to be used by traders in the design and management of Authorized Economic Operator (AEO) programmes and to be taken into account by governments when assessing the risk represented by operators.
